1st tooth

Well, it's finally here, after months of waiting and over a week of a blister-like area on his gums, it finally arrived. It's on his front lower left and it's only one. No tears or pain, luckily for us, just alot of drool... ALOT.
Bella teethed at about 9months too so it's what we expected. Gaby was the latest at a year.

On the Loose and ready for battle

Well, it's official. He is 100% mobile and no one is going to stop him. Yesterday he took his first crawling steps towards Thomas the Tank Engine. The gates have gone up and the house is back to being babyproofed.
The girls' days are numbered. Yesterday we had an altercation between Gaby and Alex and a set of binoculars. Gaby snatched it out of his hands and put it behind her back. Because he is mobile, he went after her. First, he lunged forward on his knees, arms up and grabbed her by the shirt. He accidentally scratched her on the shoulder and sent her running. He then crawled over to the binoculars.
Of course I had to "reprimand" him, but secretly I was proud of him for standing up for himself. The girls will learn the hard way. Bella is next.
